Something is new this year at  Bridges of Whitestone!  The Guest Cottage!  Due to popular demand for a year round cottage, the 'Guest Cottage' is an open concept layout, perfect for families and groups!  Comfortable, private, and cozy,  this is  perfect place to cottage all year long!  Interested in a seasonal rental of one of our cottages?  Please talk with us,  the place can be yours for the whole season,  May until October!

Our pretty waterfront cottages on Whitestone Lake boast natural wildlife and incredible sunsets. Your own private sun deck and propane barbeque await you.   Fish or suntan on your own dock and tie your boat right in front of your cottage. Should you have visitors, they can easily tie up as well. right beside you!  If you choose to bring your boat, we can assist you with launching at the well maintained Government boat launch directly across the road. Boat rentals are available locally at the marina, that is located within walking distance! Our paddle boat is usually available, as well as the sail boat, so please book early.

Long days, special nights,  weekends spent dockside and staring at the stars .... 'simply perfect'

Our location is perfect, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, yet close all amenities.  Our tiny town of Dunchurch has all of the last minute items you may require, an LCBO, convenience store, and places to dine.  A marina, a library, and a nursing station are all with in easy  walking access. The beautiful town of Parry Sound, offers everything you need and more and is only a short half hour drive away.

For your convenience and safety we have added cold water coolers to your cottage, so that the use of expensive plastic bottles are unnecessary. We replenish your water at your request. Air conditioned for your comfort when the temperatures reach summer highs, and heaters for seasonal cool evenings. Your cottage is a well equipped home away from home.  Our furnishings are comfortable, with a complete kitchen featuring microwaves, new coffee makers and blow dryers. Comforters and pillows are provided. The only accompaniments that you need to bring with you are your bedding, towels, toilet paper, soaps and personal items. Oh yes! Don't forget your food, fishing rods and cameras.  According to Jim, all you really need is your fishing pole and tackle box!

Although our cottages are not yet designated as wheelchair accessible, most are handicap friendly. We continue to work with this and in time we will easily accommodate everyone.  Should you require special assistance, please let us know, we are happy to work with you.

'Bridges of Whitestone' is now offering WEEKEND RENTALS when available!  Due to customer request, and a unique economy, we are pleased to offer our summer weekend getaways. Quite unheard of in the industry, you can now stay with us for a nice long weekend all summer!  Check in Friday morning after 10 am, and stay until Sunday midnight! Should you wish a weekly booking, weekly holiday stays are welcome as always.  Our weekly vacation stays can now check in early on Fridays so that you can begin your  vacation  a little earlier.

Looking for something special for an anniversary? Honeymoon, or special occasion?  We love to entertain, and add that special flair for your visit.  Make sure you let us know!  A wedding?   company meeting?  or have you been talking about a family reunion forever  !!!   We have everything you need right here, and at very affordable prices!  As professional Photographers,  we will be pleased to create a memory family portrait for you and your family, that will be  cherished for many years to come!

In summer months, a meet and greet cocktail hour will be complimentary dockside Friday or Saturday evenings, weather permitting and special weekends you may find us having an evening fish fry.  We invite you to come and meet us and your new neighbors as well!  Our fire pits invite gatherings and the roasting of hotdogs and smores around the campfire.  Campfire musicians, don't forget your guitars! 

We are often told,  'you aren't like any other place we have been'   and, we don't want to be!!!

Preferred and loyalty discounts will be offered for multiple cottage bookings for same time periods as well as our very special returning families that join us year to year. We also offer a referral program for friends and family you think would enjoy our little piece of heaven! (please ask for details)  We have also added our Last Minute Getaway Club, and Weekenders packages this year.

All of our cottages are proudly NON SMOKING, with no exceptions. We kindly ask that you respect your neighbors if you are choosing to smoke outside and consider the environment and those around you. A friendly fire pit is located to the back of the resort and away from the cottages. The fire regulations will be in place at all times as designated by the Municipality.

Guests are surprised with all of our little extras,  'we have been told, we should charge more!'  but, we won't!

We ask that all guests be registered upon check in, and that all vehicles be parked in the designated parking area. We are working very hard to make our resort very bio responsible and maintain a beautiful park like setting, and leave less of a footprint for our future to enjoy. We ask that you consider this in your choice of soaps, personal items, and paper goods. We are on a septic system and ask you to appreciate this as well. We work closely with the environment to assure that we are as bio responsible as possible and we know you will appreciate this by limiting contaminants in the system.
